Amira’s products have been extremely popular in Malaysia for several years now and as such, one of our major international offices is located in the country’s capital of Kuala Lumpur and so I often find myself in this wonderful city for business.
I have always loved the hustle and bustle that seems to characterise Kuala Lumpur, it reminds me of my home city of Delhi in many ways. The area of Bukat Bintang is a must visit for any tourist to the Malaysian federal capital and somewhere that is first on my list whenever I manage to find some free time here. Bukat Bintang is a large retail and entertainment district and is located in the affluent North East side of the city known as the Golden Triangle.
The district has many of Malaysia’s finest shopping malls, with the Berjaya Times Square complex being my personal favourite. This is partly because of the enormous variety of stores on offer, as well as the fact that, as the eighth tallest building in the world, it is quite the architectural feat. Bukat Bintang is also a fantastic example of a foodie heaven and Chulan Square offers the best the district has in fine dining, with a whole host of Malay, Indian, Chinese and Middle Eastern restaurants on offer.
