g4Marea is an Italian restaurant located in Central Park South that specialises in seafood and, although it was only established in 2012, has quickly risen to become one of the essential establishments in the Big Apple’s already world dominating culinary scene. The restaurant’s surroundings are elegant, as is the presentation of the dishes but the quality of the food outshines all this. Any discerning seafood lover will feel spoilt for choice here, with fresh crab and lobster, scallops and delicious grilled Mediterranean cuttlefish. Marea also serve an exceptional array of handmade pastas and their fusilli served with red wine marinated octopus and bone marrow is a regular favourite with my acquaintances.
